I’ve seriously considered buying one of these dangerously handsome Aston Martin V8 Vantages for a long time now. The only thing holding me back has been the width of my wallet. This bad boy slots in somewhere between a Porsche 911 and a Bentley (of whatever sort) in terms of price, cache, and performance/handling, but as a pre-owned vehicle, it really represents a fantastic bargain.
Think of the V8 Vantage as a luxury vehicle anomaly in that it is a true GT car with 4.3 liters pumping out 380 HP and 302 lb/ft of torque that wants you to get excited, but not so much as to be tied up and ball-gagged. It would prefer hinder parts be gently swaddled in hand-stitched leather than lashed with it mercilessly.
This black over black 2007 model with 23,500 on the odometer is an extremely well cared for example of stunning automotive design. This one comes from the gentle climate of southern California and judging by the photos, no doubt this V8 Vantage has basked in the appropriate serenity required to pamper this beauty. I’m a bit jealous of what I expect it’s quarters to be, as it has been garage kept during its down time. We all should be so lucky to have a carriage house in such a location.
While this is a 2 owner car, it’s clear that it has been meticulously maintained. It is said to have a clean carfax report, Custom $9000 D2 staggered forged wheels, and has been slightly lowered on H&R springs. (original springs are also available). Additionally, it has ceramic tint, and other than that the car is stated to be otherwise stock and in perfect working condition. The owner is willing to negotiate only on the custom wheels, taking $48,500 firm for the car with the D2’s and $45k without.
