My first car was a Z-car. So I have a soft spot for them which makes it likely that this site will have it’s fair share of “Fairlady” Z’s. And look at this lovely 5-speed manual resto-with a little-mod. According to the owner, bodywork and yellow paint (over black interior) were competed a year ago. Comes with Eibach lowering springs and KYB shocks.
If memory serves me right, this model should have a 2.8 liter straight 6, with an undisclosed number of miles on it. Located in the arid southwestern city of Tucson, Arizona, this yellowcake speedster should be relatively free of the corrosion found on most cars of its type in the more northerly and precipitation- prone latitudes.
What can I say? Z-cars are a lot of fun and have such a classic Japanese design. Mine sure did attract a lot of attention. Unfortunately, much of that attention was from the police. I sure got my share of traffic tickets with that one. In fact I think all the traffic tickets I ever got was in that car. Huh. Well, young + slightly reckless + exciting sports car = Traffic Court.
No wonder I miss it so much.
