Oh dear, I almost don’t want to post this so I can keep it to myself. Seriously. I absolutely love wagons. What’s better than a wagon? A two-door, two-tone 1958 Chevrolet Yeoman restomod wagon. Which is exactly what we have here.
Why do I like wagons? Because they are cool, that’s why. Not all wagons are cool, and I get that, but the ones that are cool are VERY cool. They are like a sleek version of a sedan with the long roofline, plus you can throw in a drum set, a pair of saddles, all your luggage, a 32 quart cooler full of beer, 6 of your hungriest friends and the food to feed them, a small sofa, a lawnmower, and still have room to fit all your wife’s shoes. Oh yeah, and you can put 2 kayaks or surfboards and that cousin you don’t like on the roof besides.
This red and white wagon has a small block 350 cubic inch V8, auto transmission, rear wheel drive (of course) and a tastefully redecorated living room, uh I mean interior. One of only 16,590 built you can practically steal this thing on ebay for a buy it now price of $26K, but is still being bid upon.
The owner includes in the description that the vehicle has front disk brakes, power steering, very nice chrome, in very good running and driving condition with excellent tires and ice cold AC. He states that health reasons (heart attack/surgeries) are forcing him to sell his cars so that he can buy his son a 1965-1968 fastback mustang. I mean, what a guy, he truly gets it! Anyway, If you have such a mustang, you may want to contact him. Regardless, here’s a true car guy passing along the car guy genes to his son. I just want to give him a hug…or at least a good manly handshake.
HERE is the link to the listing if you are so inclined to buy!
